Flounders

Original linocut print, on Fabriano 300gsm paper. 29.7cm x 42.0cm (A3), all signed and dated.

Two Flounders started life as a quick sketch in the sand. Gradually thinking about this concept over some time, it became Two Flounders. The finished piece is made from highly polished steel, mirroring and distorting the surrounding areas. Each piece interlocks into itself. The finished sculptures are 2.4 metres high and were exhibited at the Kaipara Coast Sculpture Park.
